Wind, S.W. Cloudy. Ther. 25o
SAT. DEC. 5th, 1896

Rather milder weather this
morning. I did some "tinkering"
around the house. I went to the P.O.
before dinner: Afternoon Brother
Charles was here. Mahlon Kirk
Jr. was also here to see about
my having a horse for sale.
Towards evening Willie brought
Edward home from "Fairfield"
where he had been helping him
in his weave room. I walked
down to John Round's before
supper. Willie went back to
"Fairfield" before supper.

Wind. S.E. Cloudy. Ther. 30o
SUN.DEC. 6th, 1896.

Dull & cloudy this morning
the ground scarcely frozen.
I went to meeting, which was
a "monthly meeting". Afternoon
Edward drove over to "Fairfield"
& Willie drove over here, to
spend the night expecting to go
with Edwd. tomorrow to Washington
and take the "Frank" horse
down. Tom Stabler also came
about dark to spend the night.
