Mariana S Miller came & took
sister Harriet to "Aloway" to make
a visit. Afternoon cousin Hannah
Chandler was here, Bro. Charles
also called. I went to the mill
for horse feed, and walked to
Ashton. After supper I went to
the store & P.O. I repaired the
well chain and did other tinkering
jobs.

Sun. Sept 27^th, 1896.

Willie & Fanny came soon after
breakfast. & Willie & Edward took
"Frank" horse & the buggy & drove over
to Redlands "to Luther Muncaster's
I went to meeting & hear a sermon
from Edwd Farquhar. W & E
came home in time for dinner.
Alice Tyson telephoned for
me after dinner & I rode over
to "Pen y Bryn" to see the infant
George Marshall again: They
expect to return to Altona
Pa. tomorrow, should weather
permit. After supper Willie
& Fanny returned to "Fairfield".
Cassie Ann Budd called at
the gate for advice etc.
