Still quite cool in the morning
I went to oldfields & dressed the
burned hand again Dr Koerper
with me Mr Jno Oldfield having
come to the office before breakfast
to see me. Bro: Richd came & took
Dr. K to Riverside to spend the day.
W bought some beef of E Hewitt & I some
veal from C Gantrell. Willie drove
"Fritz" over to E Peirce's. After tea
Kate Winfield was here for advice
& medicine Willie brought
Dr Koerper home from Riverside
driving "Frank".

Bro: R called on way to meeting
W drove Frank to Church at Olney
Jas T Henderson brought his daughter
Ella May "to the office & I lanced
an abcess in the leftside of lower
jaw. Dr Koerper expects to leave
us tomorrow morning in the early
stage. I shall miss him very much
and have enjoyed his little visit to
us exceedingly.

THER. 69o MON. JULY 11th, 1892 WIND S.E.
Dr Koerper left us this morning
in the stage for home. I have
enjoyed his visit very much indeed,
he left me (as a present) a handsome
gold headed "iron wood" or "Rose wood"
cane which I shall value very highly.
W drove "Frank" to Rockville to meet
Wm Grimes. I went to Henderson's
& examined & dresses the abcess
which I incised yesterday. Dr Brooke
called. It rained several times
this morning.
