Still dry & dusty. I drove
over to "Eldon" & brought sister
Harriet home with me
After dinner I drove down
to Edwd P Thomas' place to
prescribe for B Owen Hardy's
little boy "Grover"-. Edwd with
me. Mrs Hardy sent us five
small spring chickens -
Jm: Grimes Sr. was here for advice
& medicine for his wife again.

It commenced Raining this
morning between 3 & 4 o.clock
& continued at intervals throughout.
the fore noon. Agustus
Holland was here for advice &
medicine for his child who has
"whooping cough". I walked up to
the Store & Post office. about noon.
Afternoon we had a meeting
of the school Trustees. Mr B D
Palmer & Mr Henderson coming
to the office for that purpose.
Alice & Fanny Peirce brought
Willie home. The sun came
out after dinner & I fear the
Rain is over for the present.
Mrs RR Moore Jr: brought her infant
daughter again to the office
after supper.
