Beautiful day. Mrs. R R
Moore Jr: brought her infant
daughter again for advice and
medicine. Martha Bowen was was
here for advice for her "sore fin-
ger." I took Harriet and sister
Harriet over to "Eldon," where
we left the latter--to spend a
few days . We after called at
"Homewood." & home to dinner.
Chas: Hill brought me a
small load of hay from "Osce-
ola" with two horses, it is good
hay. for which I agreed with
Gilbert J Smith Sr: to allow
him at the rate of sixteen
dollars pr. ton in settlement
of a bill due by him to Bill S.
for professional services. After
supper Fanny Peirce brought Willie
home. Little Beulah took tea with
Bessie."

Another beautiful day--
I drove over to Riverside, Edwd
going with me Afternoon there
was a game of Base Ball" the
"Rockville" nine versus Sandy
Spring". the latter beat the
Rockville team but it was a
good game both sides playing
"excellent ball." After supper
Mr. B D Palmer came over
to talk about our School--
The gardens & late potatoes are suffering for want of
rain.
& the roads are very dusty.
