Another beautiful June day
I drove in Hendersons "backboard"
over to "Cincinnatti" to Warner Cook's
called at Thomas Lea's. Afternoon
Sophy Peirce & Alice were here.
After supper Miss Holland came
& took Miss Kate Mathews home
with her to spend the night.
This was the last day of the
School at "Sherwood" for the
session. Edwd was there all
day they finished examinations
& had refreshments etc. besides
a game of Base Ball in which
the Sherwood boys beat the Sandy
Spring nine of grown men.
John Milyard (groom to Whites
Percherou Stock Horse) was here
for advice & medicine again
in the evening, after dark.

Still another beautiful morning.
I hope it may last until after
quarterly meeting which begins
today & finishes on Monday.
Sarah Powell (lives at B D Palmer's)
was here before breakfast for advice
& medicine. Sister Lizzie & "Minnie"
& her baby called. Mr: A.G. Mathews
called & took Ida & the baby with
him to Miss Holland's. Miss Gertrude
was with him. After supper I went
to the store twice. Mrs Robison
was here to consult me about
Miss Mary Fowler.
