This has been a beautiful
day. Chas and Sarah Stabler called
on their way to Meeting & left
Sister Harriet. Henry Lea Jr.
brought me a note from cousin
Hannah Chandlee. Afternoon
Bro Chas called & also Robert
Tyson. Alice & Fanny Peirce
were here most of the afternoon.
After supper I walked up to
Gideon Gilpins.

Cloudy & Clearing
Ther 37o MON. MAR. 20, 1893 SE Wind

Sister Harriet left for home
in the early stage. I drove over to
"Homewood" to see cousin Mary
Chandlee again taking "Phil" with
me I drove to Riverside & we
put the horse in the stable and
went to the River "fishing" but
caught none. We dined there
calling again at Homewood
as we came home. Hallie Bentley
called. Luther Muncaster
came & took tea with us.
They had a wonderful "trial"
in the toll house to day. H Ent
having been arrested & brought
before Esq. Ware: who fined him
$5.00 & costs for "profanity" on
the public high way". & cursing
Harry Easton. I was fortunate in
being away from the village.
