The club met at the House of Thos J. Lea

All of the members being present except W. S. Brooke &
some
Saml. Hopkins, Thouglwf the members arrived very late having
attendeA a sale. Wm Lea Jr. war the only guest.
R. B. Farquhar was appointed foreman at 1/4 of 5 0[I]clock.
and after reading the minutes of the last meeting at this place
we started out for a walk
There were many improvements sbout the premises since our
last meeting here We first Noticed that the house had been
painted, which was a decided improvement to its appearance.
The flower garden was much admired. The vegetable garden looked
well and showed that it had not been neglected during the busy
season.
We were shown a new hog house, built on about the best
plan being cheap and convenient, some fine hogs of improved
stock were very much admired, keeping fet on ras[p]berries
grass.
The corn house like many others had but little in it.
There was being built an edition Lsic] to the Bern that
would be ready for growing crop.
The whept and Rye shocked in the field looked as though
