The club met at the house of T J Lea.
All present but A M Stabler & W W Moore.
We had several guests, and a
very pleasant meeting, as well as
bea[u]tiful moonlight night to go home
in, which reminded your sec that
our thanks were due to our absent
member W W Moore, for his sugjestion
of the change of time of holding our
meetings, which was made at our last
meeting at this house.

P T Stabler was appointed foreman,
and we proceeded to examine the farm
The first thing we noticed was a new
enclosure for a flower garden, which
we expect will be bea[u]tiful to look at
by our next visit. The Strawberrys
next claimed our attention, partcularly
the expression & of mulching with saw
dust The plants mulched looked
rather better than the others and if
our host finds no objection to saw
dust I think he will confer a favor
by reporting to the club.
The Henhouse is finished & inhabited,
looked neat and convenient.
After examining the swine and a sick
pig whe [sic] were conducted through a
wonderfully fine field of grass clover,
principally. We passed on through the woods
