2 mo 12 The club met at the house of R B Farquhar. Several members were absent, and we had several guests. W W Moore was appointed, foreman and after reading the minutes of the last meeting here, we Started for
our usual walk. The snow and mud prevented going far. After
viewing a fine lot of hogs we were shown a circular saw for
fire wood that had been in opperation in the morning.
Some not very encouraging remarks were made by those that
think the labor saving is more imaginary than real, but the
most of us thought it a good thing. After examining the
colts, sheep &c at the stables & yard we were invited to
assist in locating and ice pond. Returning to the house
the following questions were asked & answered.

1st what shall I do with my cattle that are diseased.

2 Will feeding Oats straw breed vermin.
No

3 What shall I plant in 1/2 acre of rich land
Red Weathersfield onions 14 by 3 or 4 inches

4 What is the best length of chestnut rails
5 say 11 feet, and 7 say 12

5 Would you use cross cut saw.
Yes

6 How large a tree would you leave
All under 10 inches
