infant, thence to Walter
Scotts'. Afternoon "Mike"
Thompson brought another
ton of coal.

Cloudy & threatning rain.
I drove to Ashton & to Remus
Hill's it commenced raining
before dinner time & continued
"showering" until evening
Alfred Warfield put away
the coal & helped make a
drain from the hog pen.
cut wood &c. Willie came
home from school at noon.
Sam Budd borrowed one
of my carriage "poles".
