Rather warmer than for a
day or two past but still
pleasant weather. Phineas
Carol came after 10. o'clk
to "Kalsomine" the parlor.
After noon Martin Roll's
wife brought her infant
son for advice & medicine.

Ther. Thurs. July 16, 1885 Wea.

Robt Sullivan came to work
at building a new "garden house"
or "privy" for us but was called
off by Edwd P Thomas to put up
something for the Insurance Co:
as a test for "Hand Fire Grenades"
and did not make quite half
a day in all Phineas Carol
worked at Kalsomining the
parlor & finished it.
I drove down & brought Charley
home to supper after which
he took Haslup with him &
drove over to the River & had
a "swim" & bath.
