Considerably warmer
than for some days past
but still not oppressive
Wille got home from
Elton about 10.30. a.m.
I drove down after Charley
at teatime.

Ther. SAT. JULY 4, 1885 Wea.
Still warmer than the
delightful weather we had
some days since, but not
oppressive still. A company
of "bicycles" came up from
Washington (24 of them) to
spend the Fourth of July.
Willie rode around considerably
with them.
I devised and cut pattern
for a supporter bandage
(abdominal) for H. & she
made it, of strong muslin
I got C to send from Ashton.
I drove to Ashton & brought C
home to supper, he rode back on
horseback. after tea. Chas Cole
here for advice & med for his
wife. after supper I walked
down to Ashton to see "fireworks"
Willie came home with me.
