Mary Bond, (colored lives
at Geo. Spriggs) her for
advice & medicine. White
girl who lives at Cissell's
came for me to go & prescribe
for Ernest Cissell
I drove over there & to Josiah
Bowens. "Uncle Henson"
here & worked in garden.
Cloudy & threatning all day.
After supper a wind storm
blew up from N.W. in the
midst of which Charley and
Dora started off to the
"reception" at Jos T Moores'
in honor of Thos L Moores'
wedding, which took place in
Richmond Va a few days since

Quite cold this morning, the
wind continued to blow all
through the night & is still
blowing at 9 a.m. Charles
Jackson here for advice & med.
Uncle Henson came again
& worked until 4 p.m. we
set him to cleaning out the
cellar it being too windy
to work in the garden.
After supper Charley drove
"Fritz" to the buggy up to
Grange Hall to a dancing
party or ball given to Thos
Moore & the bridal company.
Helen B Lea called about
dinner time to see me about
her infant daughter.
