My dear Mother:

I am glad to hear that you have at last reached an argument in your estate interests. You probably have your money safe in bank by this time. I hope so.

I thank you very much for the kind offer to get me a dress suit. The majority of hte boys in the Fraternity have dress suits and I should be glad to have one also. They are very useful as well as ornamental. The chief objection is their cost. If you think you can stand it I may get one. If you cannot, I shall forego that pleasure, till I am able to purchase one my self.
