Evangelary - also known as a Gospel Lectionary or
pericope book, an evangeliary contains the Gospel
readings for Mass, arranged according to the liturgical
year.

Armenia + Greek tradition - V shaped notches were
cut in the folds of each quire at each sewing station
in order to facilitate the passing of the needle + thread.
Curiously, V notches are not seen in Syria MSS.
