BMC II p. 596 Megdeburg Simon Koch - also known as (Mentzer) from his
hoe Weilburg near Mainz, began printing in 1486.
Apart from the Magdeburg Missal of that year _ an
ed. of Aristotle in 1488, his output was almost entirely
in the vernacular. He continued to print until the end
of the century. Haebler considers Koch to have been
the printer who worked at Meissen un 1483.
