Capital spaces, with guide letters
Types: 76 R [P6] small round text type, with small
capitals, separate Q with curved tail of medium
length. In use in 1490.
Greek tyep, lower case only, rough + irregular,
found in books of 1489, 90, 93, 94 + 97 (about 83 mm)

Pachel had collaborated with Uldericus Scinzenzeler
in 1477-87, but the first duly authenticated
as produced by him is the Tartagnus 27 March
1488. He continued until the end of the century
surviving until 1511. A native of Ingolstadin,
Bavaria, he produced 80 books by himself before 1501.
