Types: 170 G (p^20) heavy angular title type, with ornate
capitals. In use 1496-99 + probably later.
83 G - large text type. R has a short tail. SIngle
sloping hyphen. Found only in the 1497-8 Jerome
82 R^b (P23) small text type. Single Qu. N not quite
straight, short steep single hyphen. Loop of e shallow.
In use 1492-4 + revived for the Jerome (long single
hyphen + Q substituted) administure of various gothic sorts
80 Gk - lower case only - used from 1487 onwards.

First authenticated production - Valerius Maximus of 18
June 1482. THe partnership of Jacobus Britannicus
with the brothers De Gregoriis was dissolved at the end
of 1484 after having pritned some 8 editions +
thence forward to the end of the century the brothers
continued to pritn alone. During the 15th C. they
produced about 120 editions using around 50 fonts.
