Missal - MSS on vellum, in Latin.
Spain. (? Toledo) c 1450.
Written with dark brown + red ink in a fine hand (rounded
gothic) 20 lines of text. (160x115mm) Size of leaf
240x170mm. From 2 line initials in blue + red,
each with attractive calligraphic penwork decoration
in blue + red. Initials touched in yellow, rubrics
in red. .c.lx.vii.
The Missal can be localised to Toledo, or at
least for use there, as the litany of this manuscript
included St. Ildephonsus of Toledo. (feast
deay 23 January, died 667.

- Both d's, the uncial + the upright.
