To the Honorable Mayor and City Council:

Gentlemen:-

There are three peices of apparatus in the Department which
in my opinion should be protected with fire insurance.

Our switch-board and battery which cost $2,250.00 and our
four circuit repeater, which cost $800.00.

This apparatus is part of the fire alarm system and all in
Central Fire Station.

I am informed that the risk can be carraid for about three
per cent, for five years.
