The butchers bill for July, Aug. and
September am'ts to £41.4.4 and Bread for
D'o [Ditto] £33-14.8

Teusday. [tuesday] 2nd.
Sub Com't present Mrs. Goodlet H. Sect'y [Honorary Secretary]
Mrs. Raymond & Mrs. J. Graham.
Lady Young and Lady J. Taylour
visited and brought some plants
for the garden.

Jessie Evans asked the Matron to please
give her her clothes, that she could not
endure the horrid language and abuse of
Ester Brace and Esler [Essler] she (Jessie) said
I would like to stay. this institution would
a real blessing only for the conduct of
such as them, it makes one so low
spirited, I could sit and cry. they make
the home miserable.
Both Ester & Essler have been spoken to
repeatedly. and warned but they seem to
delight in wickedness. and turn a deaf ear
to all that is said.
