It is important that all fruits and vegetables in store
should be inspected periodically during the winter
months. It is work that can be conveniently carried
out during spells of bad weather when it is impossible
to work in the open. Remove all specimens which show
the least sign of decay ; those slightly infected can be put
on one side for immediate use.
