NOVEMBER 1944

5 Sun - 22nd after Trinity

Very rough day. Went
to Sunday school in after morning and
taught primary. No sunday school in afternoon
so read a book. Went to Chapel in evening
Colin & Dave came. Taffy & Betty came in
later.

6 Mon

Cold day. Did practical in biology
Started school at 9.30 so missed one
lesson. Went out in the dinner hour & did
some shopping. Didn't do much work in
free lessons. Did French at home. Colin &
Bill came in. Bill slept the night here.

7 Tues - Last Quarter, 6.28 p.m.
Very cold day. Bill
day off. Did french in free lessons - very
hard. Had very boring chemistry lessons in
afternoon. Bill taught me how to play chess
Colin Dave & Denys went on leave.

8 Wed
Very cold day. Did chemistry in free
lesson. Had a nice singing lesson and
quite nice gym. History rather boring
Didn't do much homework in evening.
Bill came in and Betty and Smithy a boy from
sick bay. Went to bed early.
