OCTOBER - NOVEMBER 1944

29 Sun - 21st after Trinity
Went to sunday school
in morning and taught primary. We had 24 there
and were very crowded. Bill came to spend the
day with us. Went to S. School in afternoon and
came back with Joy and Rona. They came to tea. Rona
is a darling. Went to Chapel in evening with Colin Dave
and Bill. We all went in to constables afterwards.

30 Mon
Half Term. Rather cold day.
Daddy on holiday to get up the potatoes.
I drove the tractor nearly all day.
Bill came in in the dinner hour. Ted brought
Paddy back. Daddy & Janet went with Taff Dave
and Colin to the pictures. I stayed home & did
homework.

31 Tues - August to October Game Certificates expire
Full Moon, 1.35 p.m.
Still very cold. Went driving tractor again in
morning. We had duck for dinner. I did
housework in afternoon and some homework.
Had a bath. Denys came to tea. Did homework in
evening. Ted and Bill came in.

1 Nov. Wed - All Saints' Day
Cold day. Tried to
do any English essay in free lessons. Singing
and gym quite nice. History rather boring.
Went with Mummy Daddy and Bill to a
missionary meeting in evening. We had no
Bible class. Denys, Betty & Ted came
in.
