SEPTEMBER 1944

Janet's birthday
24 Sun - 16th after Trinity
Terribly rough wet
cold day. Went to Sunday School in
morning and taught primary. Stayed at
home in the afternoon and finished my
homework. We all went to Harvest Festival
in evening with Denys, Bill & Taffy

25 Mon - First Quarter 12.7 p.m.
Fairly nice day.
Did some photosynthesis experiments in
biology. Got my yellow girdle in the dinner
hour. Did not do much H.W. in free lessons.
Sylvia Schon kept us amused. Was all on my
own in evening doing H.W. Mrs Ragg (Betty) popped in
for a few minutes

26 Tues
Did my french homework in free
lessons. Had chemistry all the afternoon. Had
a terrible pain in my side. Mrs Gimbert
came to tea. Did some H. W. in
evening. Went to bed early.
Taffy came in.

27 Wed
Did Chemistry in free lessons.
Had quite a nice singing lesson and
was excused gym because of pains.
Had two horrible history lesssons in afternoon.
Took Kim for a walk in evening.
Denys popped in after tea.
