6 Sun - 9th after Trinity. Transfiguration
Lovely day.
Went to Sunday School in morning and
taught primary. Wrote letters in
afternoon. Went to Chapel in evening
Leslie came with us. Went to bed
early.

7 Mon - Bank Holiday
Very hot day. Picked
10 chips of plums all the morning. Five
Airforce came to pick too. Served plums in
afternoon and went to Red Cross fete for a
short time. Bill & Gerald took me to a
Musical concert in evening. It was lovely.

8 Tues
Very hot day. Helped Mummy
all the morning and did some washing.
Janet not very well. Bill came at dinner
time. Served plums all the afternoon.
Picked up some plums in evening. It
rained a little. Betty came after supper.

9 Wed
Very hot day. Daddy shook the
trees and we picked up plums all the
morning. Wrote to Auntie Marion and
served plums all the afternoon. Picked plums
all the evening. Bill Taffy Ted & Ena came
and helped. Had a chapter of the Wind in the
Willows late in the evening.
