Lovely day. Picked plums nearly
all day. Bill came and helped and in
the evening Taffy and Leslie came
and picked. Taffy brought Janet her
kitten.

Full Moon, 12.39 p.m.
Very hot day. Helped
Mummie in morning and picked some plums.
Had a lot of money for my birthday and several
cards. Picked plums all evening with Daddy
and Bill. Leslie popped in when he came
back from ops.

5 Sat - s.r. 4.29, s.s. 7.42
Lovely day. Helped Mummie
all the morning. Made brooches in the
afternoon and picked some plums. Finished
brooches in evening and picked plums
with Bill. Taffy came & picked plums
too. Had a bath late at night.

Sow a suitable variety of Cabbage for spring cutting,
and make a further sowing of Turnips for storing. Spray
Celery with Bordeaux mixture and repeat every three
weeks as a preventive against Celery Leaf Rust. Bend
over the tops of autumn-sown Onions to check growth
and assist the bulbs in ripening.
