30 Sun - 8th after Trinity
Soviet-Polish Treaty, 1941
Lovely day.
Went to S. School in morning and taught
primary. Went again in afternoon. Went to
chapel in evening with Betty Taffy and Bill
all had supper here and Elsie came too.

31 Mon - Game Certificates and Gun Licenses expire
Trinity Law Sittings end.
Lovely day.
Helped Mummy all the morning and
most of the afternoon. Served plums.
Edna came in evening and we had a grand
party. Leslie, Snowie, Ian & Bill came
and we had music after supper.

1 Aug. Tues - Lammas Day (Scottish Quarter Day)
Had a letter from Betty
Lovely day. Did not get up until very
late in morning and didn't get much
done all day because of serving plum.
George Sinclair and Leslie came for a little
while in evening. Bill came & picked plums

2 Wed
Nice day. Helped Mummy all
the morning and cleaned my bedroom.
Edna went home in the morning. Served
in afternoon. Made brooches for Red Cross
evening. Bill and Gerald & his wife came
in evening, also Ted.
