Peggy went home. Quite nice
day. Had a lovely History paper in morning
and a terrible science 1 hr paper in
afternoon. Gerald came for tea and Supper
He helped me clean Peter's kennel out. Alex and
Phil togeth both came in evening.

14 Fri
Sultry day. Did not go to school
in morning. Revised Geography all the
time. Caught 1 o'clock bus to school and had
a terrible Geography exam. Had my hair
washed in evening. Alex came in.

15 Sat - S. Swithin
s.r. 4.0, s.s. 8.10
Nice day. Helped
Mummy in morning and did some revision.
Phil came & we shelled peas. Had a bath in
afternoon. Gerald came in evening and we
picked black currants. George Sinclair also came
in and showed us his photos. He had a little baby
girl Nan.

Where favourable conditions exist, make a final sowing
of stump-rooted Carrot for pulling as required during the
early months of next year. Plant Cauliflowers for
autumn cutting, also Kales and Broccoli, including
Sprouting.

Cold Districts. - Make a further sowing of Spinach
to stand the winter.
