The Chairman from the Committee on Fire, Water
and Gas brought up a Report (Number 371 Book E)
which was read and adopted

On motion of Ald McDermott seconded by Ald Gildersleeve
Ordered, That the City Engineer be requested
to furnish to the next meeting of the Council a statement
of all expenses incurred in connection with the street
watering By Law.

On motion of Ald Whiting seconded by Ald Redden
Ordered, That His Worship the Mayor be authorised
to issue the usual proclamation requesting the observance
of Thursday 12th Novr instant as a day of Thanksgiving
the same having been proclaimed by the Dominion
Government.

On motion of Ald Harty seconded by Ald Whiting
Ordered, That the amount appropriated in the
Budget for payment of the Reporters be paid them

On motion of Ald Gildersleeve seconded by Ald Harty
Ordered, That the sum of eight hundred dollars
be paid to His Worship the Mayor being the sum usually
paid in respect of the discharge of the duties of his office

On motion the Council adjourned

The Clerk read the minutes of the last meeting

The City of Toronto presented a memorial volume
of Toronto to Council and the City of Newark a copy
of Annual Report

The Clerk was directed to acknowledge the
receipt and convey thanks of Council
