The By Law entitled A By Law to step up and
sell part of West street City of Kingston was read a
third time and passaed

On motion of Ald Carson seconded by Ald Bermingham
Orderd, That the Committee on Fire, Water and
Gas be constructed to take evidence under oath in reference
to charges made against R. Burk

Ald McDermott moves seconded by Ald Little
That Bond Head street be opened up to the
Picket fence

In amendment 1st
Ald McKelvey moves seconded by Ald Thompson
That the opening up of the said street be referred
to the Committee on Streets to report

In amendment 2nd
Ald Bermingham moves seconded by Ald Redden
That the matter of the opening of Bagot st be
referred to the Streets Committee with power to act
which being put was carried and the original motion and
first amendment thereto were lost. Yeas 10 Nays 8

On motion of Ald McDermott seconded by Ald Little
Ordered, That the Telephone Company be
requested to remove one of their Poles at the foot of
Barrack street to a more covenient position owing
to its close proximity to the Railway track

On motion the Council adjourned
