A Meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the City
of Kingston was held this day. Present

Clements, Dunn, Law, McGuire, McIntyre,
Shaw, Smythe, T. Wilson

The meeting adjourned for want of a quorum.

A Meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the City of
Kingston was held this day. Present

His Worship the Mayor

Aldermen
John Carson, R. J. Carson, Clements, Crothers, Creeggan,
Downing, Dunn, Gildersleeve, Irving, Law, McIntyre,
Quigley, Redden, Shaw, Smythe, Whiting, T. Wilson,
W. Wilson

The Clerk read the minutes of the two last meetings.
Ald. McIntyre from the Committee on Finance and Accounts
brought up a Report (Number 228 Book E) which was read
and adopted.

The Chairman from the Committee on Streets & Improvements
brought up a Report (Number 229, Book E) which was read
and adopted.

On motion of Ald Wm Wilson seconded by Ald Dunn
Ordered, That the balances to the Credit of the different
Wards and special appropriations be carried forward to their
credit for the year 1884 and that all debit balances and liabilities
against Wards et cetera be paid and charged in their appropriation
for the year 1884.

Ald McGuire here entered
The Chairman from the Committee on City Property brought
up a Report (Number 230 Book E) which was read and
adopted.

Ald McGuire Director of the Kingston and Pembroke
Railway Company brought up a Report which was read.

On Motion of Ald R. J. Carson seconded by Ald Smythe
Ordered, That the report of Ald McGuire on the K & P
Railway be received and adopted.
