On motion of Ald Creeggan seconded by Ald Quigley
Ordered,That the use of the City Hall be granted to
the Band of B. Battery for their Promenade Concerts, so long as
the admission fee is retained at 15 cents, by simply paying for
Gas and caretakers fee.

On motion of Ald John Carson seconded by Ald Quigley
Ordered, That the necessary number of coal oil lamps
be restricted to the following wards - Frontenac Ward
three lamps, Rideau Ward - three lamps, Victoria Ward
two lamps, Cataraqui Ward two lamps.

On motion of Ald Smythe seconded by Ald R. J. Carson
Ordered, That the Rules 29 & 30 be suspended and
that leave to introduce the By Law to consolidate and amend
the By Laws of the Corporation of the City of Kingston and to
repeal certain By Laws be granted notwithstanding the
regulation as to the order of business.

Ald Smythe introduced the By Law to consolidate and
amend the By Laws of the Corporation of the City of Kingston and
to repeal centain By Laws which was read a first time. The
Council went into Committee of the whole on the second reading

The Council resumed

The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the
second reading of the By Law. The report was
received.

On motion of Ald Smythe seconded by Ald McGuire
Ordered, That the Consolidated By Law be now
read a third time and sealed with the seal of the
Corporation and signed by the Mayor and City Clerk.

The By Law was read a third time accordingly
and sealed with the City seal and signed by the Mayor
and City Clerk at the meeting & in the presence of the
Council.

Ald Smyth introduced a By Law respecting certain
By Laws which was read a first time.

The 30th Rule was suspended and the Council went
into Committee of the whole on the second reading.

Ald McGuire in the Chair
The Council resumed.

The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the second
reading of the By Law clause by clause. The report
was received.

The By Law was read a third time and passed.

On motion the Council adjourned.
