A meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the
City of Kingston was held this day pursuant to
adjournment present

The Meeting adjourned for want of a quorum

A Special meeting of the Council of the Corporation
of the City of Kingston was held this day Present

His Worship the Mayor

Aldermen

Allen, John Carson, R.J. Carson, Clements
Crothers, Creeggan, Downing, Dunn
Gildersleeve, Irving, McGuire, McIntyre
Quigley, Redden, Shaw, Smythe, Whiting
J. Wilson

The Mayor stated the meeting was called
on a requisition of members of Council to consider
communication of Mr John B Graham in Re Water Works
and to dispose of unfinished business

A Communication from John B. Graham Esquire
was read in Re Water Works

Mr Graham was also heard before the Council
on the subject

On motion of Ald: McIntyre seconded by Ald: Smythe
Ordered, That the Communication of Mr. J.B. Graham
be referred ot the Committee on the Water Works to report

Ald: Smythe from the Committee on Finance and
Accounts brought up a Report (Number 199 Book E.) which
was read and adopted

The Chairman from the Committee on Parks
brought up a Report (Number 200 Book E.) which
was read and adopted

Ald: R.J. Carson introduced a By Law to levy a
rate
