Ordered, That the 30th Rule be suspended and the Council
go into Committee of the whole on the second reading of
the By Law

The Council went into Committee of the whole on the
second reading

Ald: Law in the chair

The Council resumed

The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the second
reading of the By Law. The Report was received

On motion of Ald: R.J. Carson seconded by Ald: McIntyre
Ordered, That the following be a deputation
to go to Ottawa to procure the right of way through
the Artillery Park and any other Corporation business
they may think advisable - His Worship The Mayor
Aldermen Allen, Smythe, McGuire and McIntyre

On motion of Ald: Smythe seconded by Ald: Creeggan
Ordered, That the Mayor issue the usual
proclamation for the observance of the Queens
Birth day

On motion the Council adjourned
