On Motion of Ald: R.J. Carson seconded by Ald: Redden

Ordered, That the petition of Messrs Salter and
Sharpe be referred to the Committee On Finance and Licenses
to report and that the whole be dealt with by the said
Committees

On motion of Ald: Smythe seconded by Ald: Downing
Ordered, that all references to Committees of last year
not acted upon be referred in the same terms to the same
respective Committees of this year

On motion of Ald: Irving seconded by Ald: Clements
Ordered, That it be an instruction to the Committee
on City Property to consider the question of procuring possession
of certain property now held by the Dominion Government
and to report to this Council

On motion the Council adjourned
