new Trustees - which being put was lost

Ald McIntyre brought up the petition of Captain
Thomas F Taylor praying for a remission of the taxes on Vessels.
Referred to the Court of Revision.

Ald McIntyre brought up the petition of Samuel Fraser
complaining of a nuisance in the Bay at Northerly extremity of Ontario
street and praying it may be remedied. Referred to the Committee
on Wharves &c

On motion of Ald McIntyre seconded by Ald Smythe
Ordered, That the sum of $800 be placed at the
credit of His Worship The Mayor

On motion of Ald Clements seconded by Ald McIntyre
Orderd, That in view of the Mayor having stated
that it is his inteniton to return to the City the sum of
three hundred dollars being a portion of his salary, giving
the balance to the poor Instituions of the City, we the
Council present him with his Portrait, cost not to exceed
the price usually paid for Mayor Portraits.

The account of Michael Anderson was referred
to the Mayor
