The Council resumed
The Committee rose and the Chairman reported
the second reading of the By Law clause by clause
The Report was received
The By Law was read a third time and
passed
The Council went into Committee of the whole
on the second reading of the consolidated By Laws

The Council resumed
The Committe rose, reported progress and asked
leave to sit again. The Report was received
Ald: McIntyre introduced a By Law to appoint
a collector to collect the ratess and taxes of the municipality
of the City of Kingston for the year 1882 and for other
purposes which was read a first time
The 30th Rule of Council was suspended as to the
readings of this By Law
The Council went into Committee of the whole
on the second reading
Ald: McGuire in the chair
The Council resumed
The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the second
reading of the By Law clause by clause as amended
the Report was received
The By Law was read a third time and passed
Ald: McCammon from the Committee on Finance
and Accounts brought up a Report ( Number 140 Book E)
which was read and adopted.
The Chairman from the Committee on Streets and
Improvements brought up a Report (Number 141 Book E.)
which was read and adopted as amended by striking
out second and third clauses
On motion of Ald: R.J. Carson seconded by Ald: Dupuis
Ordered, that the Street Watering be done
under the direction of His Worship the Mayor
The Chairman from the Select Committee on the
Consolidation of the By Laws brought up a Report
Number 142 Booke E.) (Tender for Binding) which was
read and adopted
The Chairman from the Committee on City Property
brought up a Report (Number 143 Book E) which was
read and adopted.
On motion of Ald: Smythe seconded by Ald: McIntyre
Ordered, that the Mayor and Engineer be appointed
to supervise the erection off the Bell Telephone Company Poles
