of Bastard and Burgess were read acknowledging receipts
of Communications a Certain portion of the Kingston and Phillipsville
Road.

A Communication from the Public Works Department Ottawa
In Re Kingston and Napanee Macadamized Road was read

A Communication from the Provincial Secretary's office
Toronto was read enclosing order of Council In Re Gaol expenses
and maintenance of Prisoners &c

A Communication from Francis Ellington, County Clerk
was read acknowledging Copy of Order in Council

On motion of Ald: R.J. Carson seconded by Ald: C.F. Gildersleeve
Ordered, that the Communication of the County Clerk
regarding the maintenance of Prisoners between the City and
County be referred to the Committee on Finance and Accounts
and that said Committee be a Committee to meet any Committee
of the County Council relating to the matter and to report to this
Council

Ald: R.J. Carson brought up the petition of J.A. Karch
respecting Frontage

On motion of Ald: R.J. Carson seconded by Ald: Robinson
Ordered, that the petition of J.A. Kirch be referred
to the Committee on streets with power to act

Ald: Irving brought up the petition of Ellen Hickey
respecting frontage &c

On motion of Ald: Irving seconded by Ald: McMahon
Ordered, that the petition of Ellen Hickey be
referred to the Comittee on Streets to act

Ald: Law brought up the petition of R. Hendry respecting
Taxes

On motion of Ald: Law seconded by Ald: Gage
Ordered that the petition of R.Hendry respecting
Taxes be referred to the Court of Revision

Ald: Clements from the Committee On Finance and Accounts
brought up a report ( Number 80 Book E) which was read
and adopted

The Chairman from the Committee on Streets &c brought
up a Report (Number 81 Book E.) which was read and
adopted as amended by the following resolution

On motion of Ald: J.P. Gildersleeve seconded by Ald: Anglin
Ordered, that the Report of the Committee On Streets be amended
by adding at the end thereof the following words "and that
[ten livre?] of stone be granted to the City Park the drawing thereof
to be changed to said Park

The Chairman from the Court of Revision brought up
a Report (Belle Island Taxes) which was read and received
