to leave the grounds formerly leased from R. Graves for the
same purpose as used for last year or any other place he may
select for a similar purpose

The Clerk read the minutes of the last meeting

The mayor stated that a Lease was entered into between
R. Greaves and the City for Nuisance ground.

A Communication from Messrs Barden and Machar was
read in Re obstruction of alleged street between Colborne
and Queen streets

On motion of Ald: Allen seconded by Ald: Clements
Ordered, that the letter of Barden and Machar be
referred to the Committee on Streets to report

A Communication from Catherine Jones was read
asking for compensation for the injuries received by her child

On motion of Ald: McCammon seconded by Ald: McMahon
Ordered, that the Communication of Mrs. Jones be
referred to the Committee on Streers to report

A Communication from F. Ricard was read asking for
compensation for losses sustained as per bill annexed, occasioned
by the stoppage of the main drain

On motion of Ald: Robinson seconded by Ald: Gage
Ordered, that the Communication of F. Ricard be referred
to the Committee on Streets &c to report

A Communication from Edwin Horsey, Chief Kingston
Fire Brigade was read in reference to supply of water at Fire on
29th March
