On motion of Ald Irving seconded by Ald McMahon
Ordered, That the petition of D Smith in reference to the
taxes of Mrs Sinclair be referred to the Court of Revision

Ald Gage brought up the petition of George McCullogh
and 13 others praying for the grading, gravelling and draining that
part of Brock street between Gordon and Alfred streets

Ald Gage moves seconded by Ald J Carson
That the petition of George McCullough and others be
referred to the Committee on Streets to examine and report at first
meeting.

In amendment
Ald Robinson moves seconded by Ald Allen
That the petition of George McCullough and others
be referred to the Committee on Streets &c to report which being
put was carried and the original motion was lost

Ald Angin brought up the petition of William McCutcheon
praying compensation for injuries done to his horse owing to the
obstruction of Bay Street

On motion of Ald Anglin seconded by Ald Allen
Ordered, That the petition of William McCutcheon be referred
to the Committee on Streets to investigate and to report at the next
meeting of this Council

Ald Gaskin brought up the petition of John Holliday
and 125 others residents of Wolfe Island In Re Ferry between
Wolfe Island and Kingston

On motion of Ald Gaskin seconded by Ald Allen
Ordered, That the petition of John Holliday and
others in reference to lease of ferry be referred to the Committee
on Wharves and Harbor to report

Ald Clements from the Committee on Finance and
Accounts brought up a Report (Number 64 Book E) which
was read and adopted.

The Chairman from the Committee on Fire, Water and
Gas brought up a Report (Number 65, Book E) which was
read and adopted

The Chairman from the Committee on Streets and
Improvements brought up a Report (Number 66 Book E)
which was read and adopted

The Chairman from the Committee on Wharves
and Harbor brought up a Report (Number 67 Book E) which
was read and adopted.

On motion of Ald Smythe seconded by Ald J Wilson
Ordered, That a Committee consisting of Aldermen Allen,
RJ Carson, JP Gildersleeve, Robinson, Gaskin, McGuire, and
the mover be appointed to report to the Council at its next
regular meeting on the advisability of consolidating and printing
the City By Laws, the probably cost thereof and what if any scheme
they
