Ordered, that the petition of John Flanagan in reference
to taxes be referred to the Finance Committee to report.

Ordered, that the petition of John Moore be referred to
the Finance Comittee to report.

praying to have drain Covered
On motion of Ald: Gaskin seconded by Ald C.F. Gildersleeve
Ordered, that the petition of Thomas McGill in reference to
drain be referred to the Committee On Streets to report.
Ald: Maloney brought up the petition of William Cockburn
respecting Frontage
On motion of Ald: Maloney seconded by Ald: Allen
Ordered, that the petition of William Cockburn be referred
to the Committee On Streets to report at next meeting.

That the report just read be amended by being
made to read that Messrs Chown and Cunningham be granted
exemption of Taxation on Personal Property mentioned for
ten years instead of five years as mentioned in the
Report. which being put was lost and the original motion
being put was carried
