Ald McIntyre introduced a By Law to authorise
His Worship the Mayor and the City Treasurer to borrow
Four thousand dollars in addition to the sum of thirty
three thousand dollars already recently borrowed for a
similar purpose - which was read a first time

The 29th Rule being suspended the Council went into
Committee of the Whole on the second reading.

Ald Clements in the Chair
The Council resumed.
The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the
second reading of the By Law - clause by clasue -
The Report was received.
The By Law was read a third time and passed

Ald McRossie introduced a By Law to amend the
By Law passed on the twelfth day of April AD 1867
entitled "A By Law to regulate the public markets of
the City of Kingston" which was read a first time.

The 29th Rule was suspended and the Council
went into Committee of the whole on the second reading.

Ald Dupuis in the Chair
The Council resumed.
The Committee rose, reported progress and asked leave
to sit again. The Report was received.

Teh Council went into Committee of the Whole
on the By Law introduced by Ald Fee, Chairman
of the Market entitled "A By Law to amend the By Law
passed on the twelfth day of April AD 1867 entitled
"A By Law to regulate the public markets of the City of Kingston"
read a first time October 25, 1880.

Ald Gaskin in the Chair
The Council resumed
The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the
second reading of the By Law clause by clause. The Report
was received.

The 29 Rule being again suspended. The By Law
was read a third time and passed.

On motion the Council adjourned.
