the Council of 1879 although not paid for which payment comes out
of the funds of 1880, including in statement giving the liabilities
of City for years 1875, 1876, 1877, 1878, 1879 - the amount of taxes owed
the City on the 31st December 1875 also the amount on the 31st December
1879 the amount of money received from sale of Corporation property
the amount of money in Bank 31 December 1875 and the amount
on 31st December 1879 and that separate statements be made for
sale of non-resident lands and City Property.

On motion of Ald Maloney seconded by Ald Anglin
Ordered, That the Pump on Market No 2 be referred
to the Committee on the Market with power to report and fix the
same at once as it is in need in the Market for public use.

On motion of Ald McIntyre seconded by Ald Gaskin
Ordered, That the Council do now go into Committee
of the Whole on the By Law endorsed No 1 and that the 29th
Rule be suspended for this evening.

Ald McIntyre introduced a By Law to authorise His
Worship the Mayor and the City Treasurer to borrow a further
sum of $4000.00 in addition to the sum of twenty three thousand dollars already
recently borrowed for a similar purpose which was read a first time.

The Council resumed
The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the
second reading of the By Law clause by clausae - The Report
was received - the By Law was read a third time and passed.

Ald McIntyre introduced a By Law to authorise
His Worship the Mayor and the City Treasurer to borrow
four thousand dollars further to meet expenditures
which was read a first time.

The 29th Rule being suspended the Council
went into Committee of the Whole on the second reading

The Committee rose and the Chairman reported
the second reading of the By Law clause by clause. The
Report was received.

The By Law was read a third time and passed.

Six thousand dollars in additon to the sum of twenty
seven thousand dollars already recently borrowed for a
similar purpose which was read a first time
