Ordered, that clause No 6 be adopted

On motion of Ald. McIntyre seconded by Ald. McGuire
Ordered, that clause No 7 be adopted

In amendment to 8th Clause of Report
Ald: Harty moves seconded by Ald: McRossie
that this Council considers $1000.00 should be assumed
as a fair basis of value of the property referred to as No 8. in the
report now before us, for 18 years previous to 1874 and that such be
the basis of Assessment for these years and that the usual deduction
for vacancy be allowed. which being just was Carried and
the report was adopted as amended

The Chairman from the Committee on Streets and
Improvements brought up a Report (Number 28 Book E)
which was read and adopted

The Chairman from the Committee on the Market brought
up a Report respecting repairs which was read

On Motion of Ald: Fee seconded by Ald Wilson
Ordered, that the report No 2 of the market Committee
be referred to the Finance Committee to report

The Chairman from the Market Committee brought up a
Report (number 29 Book E) on Comdr Jas. McCammon and
submitting Amendment to Market By Law which was read

On motion of Ald: Fee seconded by Ald: Anglin
Ordered, that report No 3 of the Market Committee
be received and adopted subject to the Finance Committee
providing the funds for the Amount asked in the first Clause
of the report.

On motion the Council Adjourned
