On motion of Ald: McGuire seconded by Ald: Snook
Ordered, that the Mayor request the Acting Police
Magistrate to enlarge the trial of the charge referred to in
the Communication of William Murray until the New Market By Law
is passed.

A Communication from William McRossie was read
stating there are several lots on the block of land adjoining No 2
Market not yet disposed of &c. There was no action taken
thereon

A Communication from Louis Hanson was read
on the subject of the sale of Fish in the City.

Ald: McRossie moves seconded by Ald Dupuis
That in the opinion of this Council the Fish By Law
shoul be repealed.

After some discussion on the question
Ald. McRossie moved the previous question - which was carried
