The Original motion being put was carried and the Report was
adopted.

Ald Snook moves seconded by Ald McMahon
That rule 31, be suspended to allow the Committee on back
taxes to report
Which being put was lost

Ald Harty introduced a By Law to authorize His Worship The
Mayor and the City Treasurer to borrow a further sum of $9000.00
Which was read a first time
The 29th rule was suspended for the evening as regards this
By Law and the Council went into Committee of the whole
on the second reading of the By Law

Ald Gaskin in the Chair
Council resumed. The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the
second reading of the By Law in Committee

The Report was received
The By Law was read a third time and passed

A By Law to regulate the periods for taking the assessment
and for the revision of the rolls by the Court of Revision and by
the County Judge on the City of Kingston was read a first
time

On motion the Council adjourned
