A meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the City of Kingston
was held this day pursuant to adjournment

Present
His Worship The Mayor
Aldermen Allen, Anglin, Gaskin, CF Gildersleeve, JP Gildersleeve, Harty,
Irving, Law, Maloney, McGuire, McIntyre, Pense, Snook

Alderman Pense from the Committee on Finance and Accounts
brought up a Report (Number 774 Book D Number 2) which as read

Ald Pense moves seconded by Ald Harty
That the report of the Committee on Finance be received and
adopted

In amendment
Ald McIntyre moves seconded by Ald Gaskin
That the items in the Finance Committee Report relative to
medical fees in the matter of the Inquest on the body of Mrs David
be laid over for the present till the City Solicitor be consulted in regard
to whether under the circumstances more than one medical gentleman is
entitled to remuneration

Which being put was carried and the Report was adopted
as amended

Alderman McMahon here entered

The Chairman from the Committee on Streets brought up a Report
(No 775 Book D Number 2) which was read

Ald Gaskin moves seconded by Ald Snook
That the Report of the Committee on Streets be received
and adopted

In amendment 1st
Ald Irving moves seconded by Ald Maloney
That the portion of the Streets Report referring to the
O'Sullivan petitions be amended by causing it to read that the petition
be referred to the Ward Committee

In Amendment 2nd
Ald Pense moves seconded by Ald Harty
That an amount of $500 each be placed at the credit of
RIdeau, VIctoria, Cataraqui and Frontenac Wards and $300 each
