Ordered, That the petition of Thomas McConville be granted.

Ald Redden brought up the petition of the Rev. Joseph Young
and others asking for a lamp on the corner of Brock and
Montreal Streets.

On motion of Ald Redden seconded by Ald McCammon
Ordered, That the Petition of Rev Joseph Young and others
be referred to the Committee of Fire, Water and Gas to report.

Ald Anglin brought up the petition of Caroline Smith
respecting taxes.

Ald Pense brought up the petition of Charles S Crosby
respecting taxes.

Ald Wilson brought up the petition of GM Wilkinson
respecting taxes.

On motion of Ald Pense seconded by Ald Redden
Ordered, That the petitions of CS Crosby, GM Wilkinson
and Caroline Smith be referred to the Court of Revision to
report.

Ald Gaskin brought up the petition of James Nesbitt and
others in reference to the sale of fresh meat and fresh fish

On motion of Ald Gaskin seconded by Ald Mooers
Ordered, That the petition of James Nesbitt and others in
reference to the sale of fresh meat and fresh fish be referred
to the Committee on the Market to report.

Ald Carson from the Committee on Finance and Accounts
brought up a report (No 714 Book D No 2) wich was read
and adopted.

The Chairman from the Court of Revision brought up a
report (Number 715 Book D Number 2) which was read and
adopted.

The Chairman from the Committee on Licenses brought
up a report (Number 716 Book D Number 2) which was read

Ald Allen moves seconded by Ald McKelvey
That the Report of the Committe on Licenses be received
and adopted.

In amendment
Ald Pense moves seconded by Ald McKelvey
That Mr Wm David be allowed to surrender his auction
License and that he receive a refund in proportion to the
unexpired time which being put was carried and the report
was adopted as amended.

The Chairman from the Committee on Fire, Water and Gas
brought up a report (Number 717 Book D Number two) which
was read.

Ald McCammon moves seconded by Ald Wilson
That the Report of the Committee on Fire, Water, and Gas be
received and adopted.
